高考英語復習：英文作文開頭句型6大寫法
1）對立法：先引出其他人的不同看法，然后提出自己的看法或者偏向于某一看法，適用于有爭議性的主題。
[1] When asked about..., the vast/overwhelming majority of people say that …. But I think/view a bit differently.
[2] When it comes to ...., some people believe that…. Others argue/claim that the opposite/reverse is true. There is probably some truth in both arguments/statements, but I tend to the former/latter.

I was born in a small county which is poor. Therefore, there were no beautiful clothes or many toys. Before I went to school at six, I only played with my peers nearby. It was such a wonderful period that I would never forget. We always made our toys independently, which cost no money at all.
Sometimes, parents would help making toys as well. We could play from morning to night until parents told us to go home for dinner. However, as a rural child, I must help my parents doing farm work in the busy season, such as planting and harvesting. Besides, my mother is a teacher. Little boys as I was, I was interest in picture books and storybooks. I was struck by them. No sooner had I entered the middle school than I began to read novel, plays, essays and so on. I found I could get much from them. Little by little I took great interest in literature and last term I won the first prize in the composition contest among middle-school students in Zhe Jiang.
Reading “The Emperor`s New Clothes”, I had to let out a burst of laughter over his fool. “The Little Match Girl” couldn`t keep me from crying for her misery. “ Robinson Crusoe” took me into a strange world full of danger. And I was also deeply impressed by Helen Keller`s patience and perseverance… Besides these, books also tell me other thing -how to be a man and how to tell the difference between right and wrong. In a word, good books can make me know what I didn`t before. So I think of a good book as my best friend.

I believe that one of the factors that makes a piece of literature or even a movie a masterpiece is how well the reader can relate to the story. This is definitely a book everyone can relate to.
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is a literary masterpieces, written in 1876 by the famous author Mark Twain. Tom Sawyer is a mischievous young boy who lives in the small town on the Mississippi River called St. Petersburg. The story line is simple, the book reads like a biography or a memoir of a summer in Tom Sawyer's life.
Tom Sawyer seems to be the precursor of and the template for misfit kids such as Dennis the Menace, Malcolm in the Middle, and Calvin and Hobbs. What makes this story great is that Tom Sawyer represents everything that is great about childhood. The book is filled with Tom's adventures playing pirates and war with his friend Joe Harper. Tom has a trusted friend, Huck Finn, who few of the adults approve of. The book is filled with ideas of how the world works, such as how pirates and robbers work, that are so innocent, they could only come from a child. It is a story filled with action, adventure, ingenious ideas, love, and schoolyard politics. The whole story is seemingly a complication of what people did or wish they did during their childhood.
The book is a little difficult to read at first. Personally, it takes me a little while to get used to the 19th century dialect in the book. Other than referring to persons of African decent in derogatory terms （which I'm sure uses terms even young children already know）， the book would be an enjoyable read for people of all ages. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to feel young again, if just for a few hundred pages.

人總是會長大的，除了個兒長高了，身子強壯了以外，人的思想也在長。你對世界的看法不同了，懂事了，不再幼稚了。不過人是要越變越好才是。千萬不能像歷險記里的那個心狠手辣的壞蛋卓伊一樣，他壞事做盡，人見人憎。但最后他還是惡有惡報，得到了一個活活餓死在山洞里的下場。
看完《湯姆索亞歷險記》，我真羨慕湯姆能有如此有趣的經歷。這本書讓人看起來津津有味，甚至廢寢忘食。我想，《湯姆索亞歷險記》在你煩悶的時候或許能讓你一笑解千愁。

In the painful transition from the central planning economy to the market economy, millions of workers have been laid off in China. As the reform process speeds up, more people will be laid off, fueling the competition in the jab markets.
The newly unemployed have diffhrent attitudes towards new jabs. Complaining of the social problems and enjoying their free time, some of them just wait passively for help. Moreover, they are rather fussy about government assigned jobs. Their typical job requirements include good pay, decent social position, and nice working environment. To their disappointment, no such jobs are available yet and they let good opportunities slip by. In contrast, most of the unemployed are practical, facing the challenge with courage and seizing any opportunity with confidence. Instead of complaining and relying on others, they are actively hunting all sorts of jobs by themselves. They attend job training schools to acquire new professional skills while holding odd jobs. Since China is heavily investing in the construction of her infrastructures which provides many jobs, millions of the unemployed have found better jobs. Their success depends more on their positive attitudes than anything else.
As the market economy rapidly improves in China, free competition will increasingly replace all sorts of monopolies. People will enjoy more freedom in finding good jobs. Any job,just as all kinds of product, has its strengths and weaknesses. They have to change their prejudice against "indecent" jobs. It is not what jobs they do but how good they are that really counts. Nobody likes to be laid off, but it can open the door to finding a better job.

In recent years, drought has prevailed in northern parts of our country. There is no or only little rain in spring and summer in the noth and northeast of China. The same is true of snow in winter.
Consequently, big cities such as Beijing and Tianjin are short of water every year, which affects the life of the urban people and the production of factories. And the drought is most felt by crops in rural areas, of course. It is said the drought has much to do with the "green house effect" and the "greenhouse effect" is caused by the pollution of the atmosphere. In the final analysis, it is brought about by ourselves.
Faced with the terrible drought, we should stop polluting the air right away. We should try all means to decrease the amount of poisonous gases which our factories and cars give off. Besides, we should take measures to protect the forests and plant as many trees as possible.
