When it comes to private cars,, it goes without saying that they bring us obvious advantages. It is generally thought that there are all kinds of benefits with private cars. To begin with, they are so convenient that we can drive them to any place at any time; in the second place (on the other hand), with private cars, our life will be bettered and our work efficiency will be improved; What’s more, owning a car symbolizes that you are a successful person in professional world; last but not the least, …Therefore , private cars have great significance in our life.
Just as a coin has two sides/On the contrary, the disadvantages resulted from… can’t be ignored. The defects of private cars can be listed as follows: On one hand, more private cars lead to deteriorated environment and noise pollution; on another hand, traffic accidents owe much to the increase of private cars; besides / moreover / furthermore, private cars contribute to serious energy crisis because of their large consumption of petroleum.
My attitude towards it is that I prefer the above mentioned positive effects/advantages of/ brought by private cars overweigh the negative effects/disadvantages. I have at least two basic reasons to prove my point of view. First of all, the reason on which I base my idea is that more private cars will help to develop our national automobile industry and national economy. At the same time, if drastic measures are adopted to avoid the disadvantages brought by cars, we may have a more bright future. That’s why I’m in favor of the idea mentioned in the 1st paragraph.
第二篇：擁有私家車的利與弊(The Pros and Cons of Owning a Private Car)
Today, more and more urban people have private cars.No doubt, owning a ear has many advantages.
First, you can move around freely without worrying about the bus and train schedule. Of course, you don't have to queue up and strive for seats, either.
Secondly, traveling in your own ear, you will feel very cosy, especially in bad weather. In winter, you just stay warm; in hot summer, the air-conditioner sends out cool breeze; in rainy days, you remain dry.
Thirdly, you feel safer if you drive at night because you can start and stop as you like. It is all in your control.
However, not all urban citizens would buy ears, not even the rich.
Their first consideration is that they cannot stand the ever-rising price of the fuel, yet no ear can move without fuel
The next thing is the money spent on regular maintenance and repair which seems incalculable. A simple repair usually costs 50—100 yuan.
Another problem is the parking difficulty,Most apartment houses do not provide garages, what is more vexing,there are usually not enough parking lots in urban areas,andparking in a wrong place will be fined.common in almost all cities. It is often the case that cars are less quick than bikes. In addition, they are afraid of their cars being stolen. Skillful thieves are not a few and the police force are on the lacking. What if one day their cars suddenly disappear?
As a result,many pepple are watching, waiting and blancing before finally making a decision.
第三篇：私家車之我見 (My View on Private Cars)
With the fast development of human society and the improvement of life standard, private car has become more and more common in our country, especially in cities. It brings some benefit for us but also causes many problems at the same time.
For one thing, private car has increasingly played a significant role in our daily life. To start with, private cars provide more convenience as a kind of vehicle, especially for office workers, students and those go to travel usually. Furthermore, with the increase of private cars, the automobile companies can offer more and more job opportunities and reduce the pressure of unemployment. Eventually, it is good for us to save more time to improve the efficiency of life. For example, we do not have to wait for a bus when we are in a hurry.
However, for another, private car has caused many problems as well. Firstly, the environment would be heavily polluted if the number of private cars rises too quickly. The exhaust gas from cars pollutes the air and causes some serious problems to human health. Moreover, too many private cars will cause traffic jams instead of bringing convenience. Finally, the increase of traffic accidents has threatened the safety of people’s life.
As far as I am concerned, as our individuals, we should prefer to choose the public transportations when we go out. And for our government, they should take some measures to limit the increasing number of private cars.
隨著人類社會(huì)的快速發(fā)展和生活水平的提高，私家車在我國(guó)越來越普遍，特別是在城市。私家車給我們帶來很多好處，但同時(shí)也引起很多問題。
一方面，私家車在我們的日常生活扮演著越來越有意義的角色。首先，私家車作為一種工具能夠提供更多的便利，尤其是對(duì)上班族、學(xué)生和經(jīng)常去旅游的人來說。另外，隨著私家車數(shù)量的增加汽車企業(yè)能夠提供更多的工作機(jī)會(huì)，減少就業(yè)壓力。最后，這有利于我們節(jié)省時(shí)間，提高生活效率。比如，當(dāng)我們很趕時(shí)間的時(shí)候不必去等公車。
然而，另一方面，私家車同樣會(huì)引起很多問題。首先，如果私家車的數(shù)量增長(zhǎng)過快，環(huán)境會(huì)收到嚴(yán)重污染。汽車排放的氣體會(huì)污染空氣，對(duì)人們的健康帶來更嚴(yán)重的問題。另外，過多的私家車會(huì)引起交通擁堵而不是帶來便利。最后，交通事故的增加已經(jīng)危險(xiǎn)到人們的生命安全。
在我看來，個(gè)人的話我們出行的時(shí)候應(yīng)該選擇公共交通。對(duì)政府而言，他們應(yīng)該采取一些措施限制私家車數(shù)量的增長(zhǎng)。
第四篇：私家車(Private Cars)
Nowadays more and more families own private cars. Private cars, as the product of modem civilization, have been playing a vital role in people's daily activities. First,
private cars are a convenient means of transportation. You can go wherever you like. Secondly, there is no doubt that private cars will have a great impact on the economic growth. The rapid car industry growth will contribute much to keeping the country's economy growing at a higher rate in the near futrue.
But every coin has two sides. The development of the private cars will bring about a series of problems. For example, the polluted air given off by cars will do great harm to our health, too many private cars will lead to traffic jams and a great deal of energy will be wasted and so on.
So I think we should take advantages of private cars and make them serve us better. Meantime we hope that satisfactory solutions to these negative problems will be found soon.
現(xiàn)在，越來越多的家庭擁有私家車。私家車作為現(xiàn)代文明的產(chǎn)物，在人們?nèi)粘Ｉ钪邪缪萘酥匾慕巧Ｊ紫龋郊臆囀呛芊奖愕慕煌üぞ撸憧梢蚤_車到處跑;其次，毫無疑問私家車對(duì)經(jīng)，濟(jì)的增長(zhǎng)起到很大的作用。在不遠(yuǎn)的將來，快速發(fā)展的汽車工業(yè)在保持國(guó)家以較高速度的增長(zhǎng)方面將做出很大的貢獻(xiàn)。
當(dāng)然，任何事物都有其兩面性。快速發(fā)展的私家車會(huì)導(dǎo)致一系列問題。例如，汽車排出的廢氣對(duì)人體有很大的傷害，太多的私家車會(huì)導(dǎo)致交通阻塞，很多能源被浪費(fèi)等。
所以我認(rèn)為我們.應(yīng)當(dāng)充分利用私家車的優(yōu)勢(shì)，更好地為我們服務(wù)。同時(shí)，我們也希望不久這些消極的問題將會(huì)得到圓滿的解決。

With the rapid development of economy in China, the number of people who own private cars is rising day after day. Quite different views exist as to this phenomenon.
There is no doubt that private cars have been playing an important part in the daily activities of our society. To start with, cars can save time for people when they go out. Second, cars can help parents take their children to school. Moreover, owning a car is a fashion and represents the high quality of life. Of course, others strongly object to developing private cars because automobiles have given rise to a series of problems, such as air pollution, traffic jams and energy consumption. Besides, it causes actual harm to the health of people.
In my opinion it is impractical to encourage private cars in China. I sincerely believe that private cars should be discouraged in China. At present, we should raise the price of gasoline to the prohibitive level to make car-driving expensive enough. All in all, the development of private cars should be restricted in China.
