As a highly profitable industry, tourism needs to develop new items of interest.
My suggestion is landscape plus Chinese calligraphy. I think its quite potential for two reasons. The first is that Chinese calligraphy is an art which is so naturally and nicely incorporated with Chinas abundant resources of landscape. The second reason is that Chinese calligraphy has such fascination for foreign tourists especially westerners.
Imagine a scenery spot displaying artists masterpieces of Chinese calligraphy! Such blend can nowhere be enjoyed outside of China.

Located in the west of Yunnan Province, Dali enjoys a long and splendid history. For five hundred years, it served as the capital of Dali until the collapse of the empire.
Blessed with an agreeable weather, Dali offhrs a cozy home for a large variety of natural plants. For its superiority in natural condition, Dali earns such fame as "Orient Swiss" and "the city of Flower".
Dali has been widely praised for its attraction in natural beauty: Dalis fascination, however, does not end there. Standing in silence here are numerous ancient temples, steles, bells and towers, as the witness of the history of Dall and the proof of the wisdom and creativity of the Dali people.
Our journey here will cover most of the famous spots, making our schedule extremely tight. This afternoon, however, you may take a short rest to recover from the fatigue of such a long trip. After supper, we will have a tour in the city to unveil the glamour of Dali behind the curtain of night. There will be more excitements and enjoyments awaiting you in the days to come.

I feel it a great honour to be your tour guide today. First, on behalf of my company, I warmly welcome all my distinguished guests from Australia to Shanghai and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower.
Located on the Huangpu River, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower is now the symbol of the city. Built in 1994 and opened to the public in 1995, it is now the highest building in Shanghai and the third highest in Asia. The Tower has a quite unique structure and consists of 3 large and 5 small balls. Inside the balls, you can have a birds eye view of the city.
Our schedule for the trip to the TV Tower is as follows: you have an hour form 9:30-10:30am to experience the history of Shanghai on the first floor. Then well assemble in the middle of the hall at 10:30 and have another hour to overlook the beautiful city sceneries in the middle ball. Finally please do remember to go to the top ball at 11:30 to enjoy your lunch.
