　　家鄉賀州是一個文化底蘊深厚的.小城。我在這個安詳的城市里生活了十多年，也確實發現了她獨特的民俗風韻。

　　Hezhou is a small city with profound cultural heritage. I have lived in this peaceful city for more than ten years, and I really found her unique folk charm.

　　每年農歷二月初二，家家戶戶熱熱鬧鬧的，主人們忙得不亦樂乎——她們把親朋好友請到家里吃飯過節，同時也歡迎陌生人主動走進來做客，主人們希望越多人越好，來者皆為客，尤其是農村里，好像擺喜宴似的，成十張桌子，上面擺滿了豐盛的酒菜。這就是“食節”，也叫“二月二”。

　　客家風味很喜歡做“釀”。釀，就是把肉、芋頭等配料剁成餡，然后塞到各種瓜果蔬菜中間煮熟成“釀”。把餡放到瓜花里，就是瓜花釀；放到掏空的辣椒里就是辣椒釀；放到豆腐里，或夾在豆腐塊中間就是豆腐釀。客家風味中還有一道菜色是扣肉。一碗碗扣肉呈誘人的棗色，是過年過節不可或缺的佳肴。每一塊扣肉由一塊五花肉夾著一塊芋頭組成，還澆上了香噴噴的蜜汁兒，吃完后仍令人回味無窮。
