　　Just simply think about it: in what kind of interview you'd be asked to "introduce yourself in English", and what information would the interviewer expect to learn from your reaction? - Obviously, this is just a BASIC test of English speaking. The point is how well do you speak, but never is what do you say. Remember, this "question"(request, actually) is usually used ONLY for entry-level positions which don't need a lot of English in work.
