　　爺爺特別關心國家大事，自從中國加入世貿組織，中國人學英語的積極性空前高漲。正好社區里辦了個英語補習班，爺爺便去報了名，他把這個秘密告訴了我，還叫我別跟別人說。我哈哈大笑說：“您學英語笑死人了�！睜敔攨s說：“一年后，咱們就比誰的英語好，怎么樣？”我爽快地說：“好！”但晚餐時，我卻公開了這個消息。爸爸、媽媽、奶奶都捧腹大笑，奶奶說：“你呀！你呀！都這把年紀了，還學什么英語，傳出去讓人家笑落大門牙！”媽媽說：“您60多歲了，還有這樣的雄心壯志？”爺爺沉默了一會兒，生氣地說：“我國改革開放30多年來，許多外國人來中國，我外出旅游，碰上外國人，不就可以用英語和外國人交流嗎？”爸爸見爺爺生氣了，就說：“好！您去學吧！”爺爺學英語的勁頭可足啦！每天早上6點前就起床，從練習讀26個字母開始，再讀記詞組……有時把我給吵醒了，我便對爺爺說：“您怎么這么煩……”爺爺說：“你睡吧，我不吵了�！蔽蚁耄耗怀痴l信……早上，我和爺爺一起去買菜，爺爺邊走，邊念著ABC，旁邊的人都望著我們倆笑，我滿臉通紅，就小聲對爺爺說：“您別練了，別人還以為我倆是神經病呢！”爺爺卻毫不在意地說：“怕什么，無所謂�！蔽抑缓秒x爺爺遠一點了。晚上，我和爺爺一起睡，9點了，爺爺一直在讀英語。我夜里起來上廁所時，睜開眼睛，一道刺眼的光向我射來，我一看手表：“呀！12點多了�！蔽掖郀敔斔X，他拿我沒辦法，只好睡覺了。
