  The Chinese Dream, My Dream

Our president Xi first came up with the view chinese dream. For the chinese dream,is a constant pursuit.reviewed the history of the Chinese nation 100 years the dream of power and uemitting exploration, shows a picture of the world national revival.

Recently we had a class meeting on the topic of My Chinese Dream everyone talked enthusiastically about his understanding of the Chinese Dream. We all believe that this dream will come true in the future. I also talked about my own dream. I have always wanted to be a doctor. Not only can doctors save people’s lives but also they are doing a respectable job.To realize my dream, I must try to study hard from now on. I must learn as much as I can so that I can become a doctor. Only in this way can I accomplish my goal.

in a social transitional period, chinese face numerous challenges. reforms have ended the "iron rice bowl" system of cradle-to-grave social welfare. chinese have to earn money for housing, medical insurance, retirement pension and educationg now people work harder than before to keep thei5 competitive edge and grasp opportunities.

chinese put priority on the quality of life, instead of quantity, particularly in terms of mentalities. people pay more attention to the essence of life, and care more about their own feelings. the words "pressure", "competition" exist in daily vocabulary. chinese possess not only sophisticated lifestyles, but also very positive views of life.

chinese in the social transitional period are full of confidence in their future. in spite of setbacks and difficulties, people believe that "reforms" means countless opportunities and more benefits to them. they think tomorrow will be better than today.

How To Alleviate China’s Traffic Congestion

As our economy grows at a fever pitch, and more and more people are moving into the major cities and industrial centers, traffic congestion becomes the order of the day.

Traffic congestion not only creates headaches for commuters, but also reduces productivity by taking away valuable time from work. This sickness that plagues our cities must be at least put under control, if not cured. Some people advocate that more roads be built to accommodate the increase in traffic, others think that enlarging the capacity of public transit systems: buses, subway, trains…is the answer.

Building more roads would mean a lot of land will be appropriated—not a very good prospect for economic, agricultural, and environmental reasons. On the other hand, forcing everyone to take public transit will bring inconvenience to those whose use of their cars is essential to their work. Putting more buses on the road may have the opposite effect as big buses tend to clog up narrow streets. Building an extensive subway system can be the ideal answer, but that is very expensive.

Clearly, we cannot go for one single solution. A compromise must be struck between the different solutions. My personal view is that for cities that have plenty of unused land, more roads should be built. Having special lanes reserved for bicycles and motorcycles should encourage more people to use bicycles and motorcycles instead of cars. As a long-term solution, extensive subway, or surface monorail systems should be built for all the major cities

Bicycle is a convinient means of transporation. It has been very popular in China. During the rush hours, particularly in big cities, you can often see a sea of bicycle riders in the streets. People can ride bicycles to their working places, to schools, to shopping centers and so on. In a word, bicycles play an important role in daily life.

Compared with cars, bicycles have many advantages. Firstly, they are not so expensive as cars and almost every family can afford to buy and repair them. Secondly, riding bicycle is a healthy form of exercise. They do good to our health. Thirdly, bicycles can save energy and does not cause any pollution, while cars will cause serious air pollution, which makes the air in our living place very dirty and makes a lot of people suffer from lung cancer. As weall know, China is a country with a large population. Ifeach family has a car, a large amount of energy would be wasted and air pollution would become more and more serious. Finally, most Chinese people don' t live far away from where they work or study, it is convenient to ride bicycles. I think that is why bicycles are used so much.

Bicycles are so popular in China that China is often referred to as the kingdom of bicycles. I hope more and more people can ride bicycles in order to make our planet better and cleaner.

Secondly, two-child policy can guarantee the number of Chinese population. As the widely spread of one-child policy, some people have changed their conception about giving birth. If they firmly believe one-child policy, there will be more and more the dink. After several decades, our country will famous for lack of

  population.

What I will talk about here may be radical to many and arouse criticism. I still think things definitely go wrong with the present educational policy.

Students, whether they be small children or college boys, or even post graduates, are oriented to the passing of a disgustingly variety of tests/examinations. How often (virtually every night) do we see first graders bending for hours over homework, the sole purpose of which is to have high scores in exams so that they might go to better middle and high schools. When they are in high schools, things get worse. They will be still more exhausted preparing for the college entrance examination. And the toiling circle does not stop here. They will worry about further exams.

Good examination results determine one’s future. Under such influence everything can be sacrificed, including the students’ health, parents’ money, and most importantly, the quality of education, by which I mean genuine knowledge and skills which can not and should not be tested with exam scores.

The outcome of such faults in the educational policy, although not intended, is that so many a student becomes sort of expert at doing exams and scores high. But they are not competent when they take up their careers. Such is the tragedy of the present education.

Authorities may not admit the disturbing situation, but as an educator myself, I hold the issue self-evident. Things will have to be done to reverse the trend.

Recently we had a class meeting on the topic of My Chinese Dream.

Each student in our class shared their own comprehension of the topic, during which we enjoy the meeting very much.

When it turned to me , I also shared my own Chinese Dream, which Ive developed since I was very young.

I dreamed of becoming an primary school teacher after my college, spending time with kids every day.

Its really simple actually, but mean a lot to me.

I like children and especially Im longed to do something for them, for their good growth in their early age, which I think is quite meaningful.

To make my dream come true, i will study hard in school and make every effort to make me a all-rounded person .
