　　【一】人生

　　All that is beautiful poems and passages of life

　　things do not change;we change.sell your clothes and keep your thoughts.

　　today we have higher buildings and wider highways,but shorter temperaments and narrower points of view;

　　今天我們擁有了更高層的樓宇以及更寬闊的公路，但是我們的性情卻更為急躁，眼光也更加狹隘；

　　we spend more,but enjoy less;

　　我們消耗的更多，享受到的卻更少；

　　we have bigger houses,but smaller famillies;

　　我們的住房更大了，但我們的家庭卻更小了；

　　we have more compromises,but less time;

　　我們妥協更多，時間更少；

　　we have more knowledge,but less judgment;

　　我們擁有了更多的知識，可判斷力卻更差了；

　　we have more medicines,but less health;

　　that‘s why i propose,that as of today;

　　you do not keep anything for a special occasion.because every day that you live is a special occasion.

　　search for knowledge,read more ,sit on your porch and admire the view without paying attention to your needs;

　　spend more time with your family and friends,eat your favorite foods,visit the places you love;

　　life is a chain of moments of enjoyment;not only about survival;

　　生活是一串串的快樂時光；我們不僅僅是為了生存而生存；

　　use your crystal goblets.do not save your best perfume,and use it every time you feel you want it.

　　舉起你的水晶酒杯吧。不要吝嗇灑上你最好的香水，你想用的時候就享用吧！

　　remove from your vocabulary phrases like"one of these days"or "someday";

　　從你的詞匯庫中移去所謂的“有那么一天”或者“某一天”；

　　let‘s write that letter we thought of writing "one of these days"!

　　曾打算“有那么一天”去寫的信，就在今天吧！

　　let‘s tell our families and friends how much we love them;

　　【二】黃昏之美

　　Looking into the sunset I can't help but notice

　　that despite her beauty,

　　a sense of struggle and hopeless surround the sky .

　　Deep inside you realize that this day is gone,

　　and everything that It had brought is lost forever.

　　Every thought,every action,every dream,every hope,

　　every sight,every sound is gone.

　　There is no chance of every being returned the same,

　　exactly the same.

　　For every moment has a limit to what it can capture,

　　Every memory has a limit to what it had retrieve.

　　凝望夕陽，我無法抑止地看到，

　　無論她是如何的美麗動人，

　　掙扎和絕望依然縈繞天幕，

　　內心深處，你明白今日已逝，

　　它所帶來的一切也永遠消失了，

　　每一脈思想，每一次行動，每一個夢想，每一線希望，

　　So futile their attempt to comfort our fear of the night.

　　our horror as we try to find our way,

　　like children who wanderinto a forest and never return.

　　I am ingratiatedby the sunset because of

　　her sensitivity as she tries to push the darkness

　　back for just a moment more.

　　But like so many times before....to no avail!

　　【三】A Box Full Of Kisses

　　The story goes that some time ago, a man punished his 3-year-old daughter for wasting a roll of gold wrapping paper. Money was tight and he became infuriated when the child tried to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree. Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift to her father the next morning and said, "This is for you, Daddy.”

　　有這樣一個故事，爸爸因為三歲的女兒浪費了一卷金色的包裝紙而懲罰了她。家里很缺錢，當孩子想要用包裝紙裝飾一個掛在圣誕樹上的盒子時，爸爸生氣了。然而，第二天早上小女孩把盒子作為禮物送給了爸爸，“這是給你的，爸爸�！�

　　The man was embarrassed by his earlier overreaction, but his anger flared again when he found out the box was empty. He yelled at her, stating, "Don't you know, when you give someone a present, there is supposed to be something inside? The little girl looked up at him with tears in her eyes and cried, "Oh, Daddy, it's not empty at all. I blew kisses into the box. They're all for you, Daddy."

　　女兒的這個行為讓爸爸感到尷尬。但是當他發現盒子是空的時候，他的怒火再一次燃燒了。他對女兒喊道，“難道你不知道給別人禮物的時候，里面應該放有東西嗎?”多女孩抬頭看著父親，眼里含著淚水，“爸爸，盒子不是空的。我把吻放在了盒子里，都是給你的，爸爸�！�

　　The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little girl, and he begged for her forgiveness. Only a short time later, an accident took the life of the child. It is also told that her father kept that gold box by his bed for many years and, whenever he was discouraged, he would take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there.

　　爸爸感動極了，他摟住女兒，懇請她的原諒。之后不久，一場事故奪走了小女孩的生命。據說，父親便將那個小金盒子放在床頭，一直陪伴著他的余生。無論何時他感到氣餒或者遇到難辦的事情，他就會打開禮盒，取出一個假想的吻，記起漂亮女兒給予了自己特殊的愛。

　　In a very real sense, each one of us, as humans beings, have been given a gold container filled with unconditional love and kisses... from our children, family members, friends, and God. There is simply no other possession, anyone could hold, more precious than this.

　　從一個非常真實的意義上說，我們每個人都被贈與過一個無形的金色禮盒，那里面裝滿了來自子女，家人，朋友及上帝無條件的愛與吻。人們所能擁有的最珍貴的禮物莫過于此了。

　　【四】Youth

　　Youth is not a time of life; itis a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and suppleknees; it is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of theemotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life.

　　Youth means a temperamentalpredominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over thelove of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20. Nobodygrows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals.

　　Yearsmay wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry, fear,self-distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.

　　Whether 60 or 16, there is inevery human being’s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing appetite for what’snext and the joy of the game of living. In the center of your heart and myheart, there is a wireless station; so long as it receives messages of beauty,hope, courage and power from man and from the infinite, so long as you areyoung.

　　When your aerials are down, andyour spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, thenyou’ve grown old, even at 20; but as long as your aerials are up, to catchwaves of optimism, there’s hope you may die young at 80.

　　青春不是年華，而是心境；青春不是桃面、丹唇、柔膝，而是深沉的意志，恢宏的想象，炙熱的戀情；青春是生命的深泉在涌流。

　　青春氣貫長虹，勇銳蓋過怯弱，進取壓倒茍安。如此銳氣，二十后生而有之，六旬男子則更多見。年歲有加，并非垂老，理想丟棄，方墮暮年。

　　歲月悠悠，衰微只及肌膚；熱忱拋卻，頹廢必致靈魂。憂煩，惶恐，喪失自信，定使心靈扭曲，意氣如灰。

　　無論年屆花甲，擬或二八芳齡，心中皆有生命之歡樂，奇跡之誘惑，孩童般天真久盛不衰。人人心中皆有一臺天線，只要你從天上人間接受美好、希望、歡樂、勇氣和力量的信號，你就青春永駐，風華常存。

　　一旦天線下降，銳氣便被冰雪覆蓋，玩世不恭、自暴自棄油然而生，即使年方二十，實已垂垂老矣；然則只要樹起天線，捕捉樂觀信號，你就有望在八十高齡告別塵寰時仍覺年輕。
