　　老雅在多年雅思寫作教學中，發現我們中國學生有一個非常嚴重的問題，就是拿到題目后不知道從哪個方向入手思考，也不知道些什么，于是亂寫一氣，結果是邏輯混亂，甚至文不對題。一個來自學生的相當經典的問題是這樣的：

　　老師你好，我是xx大學的學生，我發現自己在寫雅思作文的時候，沒有辦法做到深入思考和在論點之間建立合理的邏輯關系，請問有什么方法可以解決這兩個問題呢?有什么平時可以做的訓練嗎?

　　無法深入思考，無法在論點之間建立邏輯聯系。這兩個問題，你有木有?是不是困擾了你很多年?是不是讓你寫好這個作文，卻不知道下個作文能不能寫好?

　　癥結是：你沒有建立很好的思維模型，你沒有掌握合理的思維方式!很多老師(包括很多所謂雅思名師)告訴你：不知道怎么寫?多看報紙就知道了!毫無疑問，讀報刊有利于豐富自己的思想，但若讀報紙卻沒有讀出報刊文章的邏輯，你讀再多，也難以讓你自己的邏輯通順起來，更難讓你的寫作變得流暢自如!近年來興起的機器批改作文，也只能檢查一下你的語法，但無法幫助你的邏輯。

　　怎么辦?其實，很簡單。老雅已經在多種場合，多種講座，各種文章中提出了自己獨創的“雅思寫作三層次理論”，現在，老雅想集中詳細闡述一下這個理論，讓各位烤鴨看得更清楚，更完整。其實，這個理論不只對烤鴨有用，六級寫作、考研寫作、托福寫作、SAT寫作、GRE寫作，但凡需要一定水平的寫作，這個理論都完全適用。

　　1. 什么是“三大層次”理論?

　　所謂“三大層次”，指的是我們對任何一個話題，都可以從三個層次進行思考和討論。這三個層次包括：物質(physical)層次、心理(psychological)層次、社會(societal) 層次。其中：

　　物質層次指的是與我們的身體、時間、空間、金錢/成本等相關的層次，這是一種比較淺顯的層次。比如看電視，從物質層次上來講，壞處就是浪費我們的時間、電費(金錢)，還可能傷害我們的眼睛(身體)，但它的好處就是讓我們了解各種信息等。

　　心理層次指的是與我們心理、情感、精神等相關的層次，這是一種涉及到我們感情和思想的層次，比物質層次要深入一些。比如看電視，從心理層次上講，壞處就是讓我們養成被動接受信息不再自己思考的習慣，好處就是能陪伴我們度過空虛的時光等。

　　社會層次指的是與我們的環境、社會、文化、道德等相關的層次，這個層次相當于脫離了與我們個人的關聯，而進入到更宏大的社會之中，因此比心理層次顯得更高。比如看電視，從社會層次上講，壞處可能包括暴力節目引發犯罪、虛假廣告可能誤導消費者等，好處就是購買電視有利于促進國家的經濟發展等。

　　2.“三大層次”理論應用實例

　　實例1

　　Some people believe there are intelligent life forms existing on other planets and it is better to send messages to them, but others think it is a bad idea because it is very dangerous to do this. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

　　【好處】(1)外星人科技發達，可以學習他們的科技，讓地球人生活得更快樂(物質層面);(2)和外星人聯系后，我們在這個宇宙就不再孤獨(心理層面);(3)地球必將毀滅，聯系外星人將為地球人找到新的棲息地(社會層面)。

　　【壞處】(1)聯系外星人，需要投入巨大的人力物力(物質層面);(2)聯系外星人，可能是一件非常危險的事情(社會層面)。

　　【我的觀點】我認為應該努力與外星人溝通。首先，外星人若不及我們地球文明，那他們不會對我們構成威脅，如果外星人比我們的文明更先進，那么他們來破壞地球的可能性就更低，因此所謂威脅論或危險論其實不存在;而與外星人溝通會讓我們找到其他星球的朋友，我們可以向他們學習，在地球終點到來之前，外星人甚至可能挽救我們。

　　實例2

　　In some countries, the criminal trials are shown on the TV and the general public can watch them. Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

　　【好處】(1)看電視審判犯人，我們可以學到很多關于法律的知識(物質層面);(2)電視審判犯人，可以讓觀眾內心感到害怕，從而不敢犯罪(心理層面);(3)電視審判，關注面大，從而使審判顯得更加公正(社會層面)。

　　【壞處】(1)電視審判犯人，必定將犯罪細節公之于眾，這在某種程度上是在宣傳暴力(物質層面);(2)因為知道要電視播放，法官和律師的注意力往往從案件審理轉移到電視作秀，不利于法律的正常實施(心理層面和社會層面)。

　　【我的觀點】作為公民，我們有權利知道犯人是如何得到審判的，因此我贊同電視審判犯人，但是電視審判中也要注意控制那些不宜播放的犯罪細節，并降低電視媒介對審判過程的不良影響。

　　實例3

　　Many towns and cities constructed in previous centuries are suitable for life at that time, and cause many problems today. Describe the problems it may cause and give the possible solution.

　　【物質層次】衣食住行。過去不需要大型超市，現在需要;過去不需要寬闊的街道，現在需要;過去不需要地鐵和機場，現在需要。這些屬于物質層次的范疇。

　　【心理層次】休閑娛樂。過去不需要高級電影院，現在需要;過去不需要公共圖書館/博物館，現在需要;過去不需要大型廣場，現在需要。這些屬于心理層次的范疇。

　　【社會層次】環境與社會。過去不需要區分居住區、工業區和商業區，現在需要;過去(也許)不需要城市中心花園，現在需要;過去不需要廢品回收站，現在需要。這些屬于社會層次的`范疇。

　　3. “三大層次”理論使用的四大錦囊

　　老雅提出的“三大層次”理論可以幫助同學們迅速想出要寫的內容，在一寸光陰一寸金的考場，能為你節約很多很多時間。但是，在具體操作過程中，老雅認為同學們還應注意幾點：

　　(1)一般的順序是由低到高層次寫作，這樣可以確保內容的邏輯性。也就是說，先寫物質層次，然后心理層次，最后社會層次。

　　(2)不同話題，可能需要考慮不同層次的詳略。比如，某些話題可能在物質層次上多寫，在社會層次略寫;另外的話題可能考慮社會層次更多，物質層次一帶而過。這些都需要在寫作計劃的時候考慮清楚。

　　(3)究竟寫到哪個層次，或者在哪個層次多用力，還取決于你的英語水平高低。如果你對自己的英語水平比較自信，那就盡量考慮寫完三個層次，而且在社會層次上也不露怯;但如果你的英語水平還不夠好，那就盡量在物質層次上多找幾個點寫下去，然后適當寫點心理層次的內容，社會層次就不要去寫，否則錯誤就多，得分就低。老雅的具體建議是：爭取5分的同學，只寫物質層面，內容簡單，語言錯誤也有望減少很多;爭取6分的同學，主要寫物質層面，適當簡寫心理層面;爭取7分或以上的同學，物質層面一筆帶過，以心理層面和社會層面為主 。

　　(4)老雅多年教學經驗告訴我，很多學生一拿到題目，首先想到的就是心理和社會層次的內容，結果很難邏輯地寫下去。老雅的建議是，拿到任何題目，首先就想物質層次，即使你想在心理和社會層次上用力，你也需要先簡要論述物質層次，然后以此為跳板，過度到另外兩個層次去，這樣的寫作才會顯得自然，獲得高分。
