Do it in pair first. Then ask some demonstration pair to show their dialogues before the whole class.

Step4. Listening

T: now let’s look at the chart. There is a girl and a boy. The girl’s name is Kelsey and the boy’s name is Mike. let’s listen to the tape again and find what they have.

Then ask Ss to read the tape scripts.

Do Section B, 3a.

For Notice1 and Notice2, if necessary, help Ss read and understand the messages after they learn themselves first. For Notice3 and Notice4, give Ss some questions about name and phone number to help them understand better.

Explain the phrase: call sb at … bulletin board school ID card

Step 6 practise

: Do Section B, 3b.

Ask Ss to put the pieces in correct order. Then show them some similar material and ask them to put them in order. And then check the answers.

Step 7 write

T: suppose today you lost or found sth, please write your own bulletin board messages.

Step8. Group task:

Section B, 4

Get Ss to draw a picture, the other students guess what it is. Using: What is it in English? Is it a/an…?
