結構 定語從句（the Attributive Clause）(3)

III. 學能目標
在初中所學句型的基礎上，進一步豐富學生的詞匯，熟練掌握Apologising to people以及Expressing your gratitude句型結構，積極和老師同學配合，認真完成教材的教學任務，達到新課標要求。同學們可以通過小組活動，分工合作，通過不同資源途經，了解＂餐桌上的禮節＂；了解不同國家、不同地域人們不同的＂餐桌上的禮節＂，通過觀摩錄像，認真領悟，使學生由被動變主動，積極參與學習過程，并親自投身現場的模擬表演，使之產生濃厚的學習興趣，讓學生體會英語作為工具學科帶來的樂趣。學生可以利用英語擴大自己的視野，獲取知識，了解世界。使學生養成自覺使用英語和查閱英語資料的好習慣，為學生終身使用英語打下良好的基礎。
IV.教材分析
1. 教材分析
本單元以“禮儀”為中心話題，通過本單元教學,旨在使學生了解中西方禮儀文化的差異，提高學生的跨文化交際的意識，并結合實際，了解生活中的道歉、致謝常用語。由于2008年奧運會在中國舉行，因此了解東西方禮儀的話題學生應該比較感興趣。
1．1 WARMING UP部分以圖片形式導出本單元的話題之一--道歉，旨在通過模擬真實情景，讓學生體會現實生活中的道歉用語，培養學生處理生活中類似問題的能力。
1．2 LISTENING部分提供了一個生活中可能遇到的事例--事先未經允許借用了別人自行車，而且又把車給丟失了。讓學生通過“聽”，真正掌握道歉用語的應用場合。
1.3 SPEAKING 旨在通過情景練習提高學生的口語表達能力，進一步體會在一定情景中道歉用語的使用。
1.4 PRE-READING 是READING的熱身活動，旨在通過所提供的表格,讓學生去討論中國文化中的禮儀規范。在討論總結中深入了解本民族的禮儀規范，并探究與西方文化中的禮儀之異同。
1.5 READING是一篇介紹西方餐桌禮儀的說明文。文章通過全面地介紹西方的餐桌禮儀，讓學生了解西方餐飲文化，培養學生的跨文化交際的意識，使他們適應當前世界文化交流的大潮，提前做好準備。
1.6 POST-READING部分通過練習檢查學生對西方餐桌文化的理解、掌握，使學生對中西方文化有更深層的理解。
1.7 LANGUAGE STUDY分詞匯和語法兩部分。利用探究式學習方法，學習構詞法及定語從句的相關知識，并達到熟練運用的程度。
1.8 INTEGRATING SKILLS通過范例讓學生掌握感謝信的結構特點，并通過模仿達到會撰寫，目的在于提高學生的英語寫作能力。
2. 教材重組
2.1 將WARMING UP與SPEAKING合在一起，上一節“口語課”。
2.2 將LISTENING和WORKBOOK中的LISTENING整合在一起，設計一節“聽力課”。
2.3 將PRE-READING, READING和POST-REDING結合起來，上一節“閱讀課”。
2.4將WORKBOOK中TALKING 和INTEGRATING SKILLS的READING整合起來，上一節“泛讀課”。
2.5將LANGUAGE STUDY與WORKBOOK中的語法練習題整合在一起，上一節“語法課”。
2.6將INEGRATING SKILLS與練習中的WRITING整合在一起，設計一節“寫作課”。

T: Well done! Now let’s make use of the expressions in the second column to make a dialogue for each picture. Work in pairs.

T: Now let’s learn speaking on Page 37. we’ll practise these useful expressions that we’ve learned. There are 3 situations about making apologises. Work in pairs to make up a short dialogue.
Situation 1
S9: Can you introduce me to him, Tom?
S10: I’m sorry. I didn’t know you hadn’t met. David, this is John.
S9: Hi, John. Nice to meet you.
Situation 2
S11: Excuse me! Are these seats free?
S12: No, I’m very sorry. My friend is sitting here.
S11: That’s all right.
Situation 3
S13: Oh, was that your glass?
S14: Yes.
S13: I’m terribly sorry. I took it by mistake. Can I give you another one?
S14: That would be nice, thanks.
Step V Discussing
T: Now look at Ex4 on Page117. Work in pairs. Discuss the situation and complete the second sentence.
A few minutes later, check the answers with the whole class .

Ask Ss to make dialogues with other situations which may all take at the party.
