一、 導入（啟發(fā)探究 3分鐘）

1.used to的用法

“used to＋動詞原形”表示過去常常干某事，現(xiàn)在不在干了。只有一種形式，即過去式。 例如：I used to go to work by bus. Now I take a taxi.

So the sentence “I used to be afraid of the dark.” means in Chinese:

我過去常害怕黑暗。

2.“used to”的疑問形式和否定形式：

-Did you use to be afraid of the dark?

-Yes, I used to be afraid of the dark.

-Did he use to be afraid of the dark?

-No, he did not use to be afraid of the dark.

B、辨析：be afraid of be afraid to

1.be afraid to do　不敢，膽怯去做某事，是主觀上的原因不去做，意為"怕"；

She was afraid to step further in grass because she was afraid of being bitten by a snake. 她生 怕被蛇咬著，而不敢在草叢中再走一步。

She was afraid to wake her husband. 她不敢去叫醒她丈夫。

2.be afraid of doing　擔心出現(xiàn)doing的狀況、結果。 doing 是客觀上造成的，意為"生怕， 恐怕"。

1.be like 與 look like : 兩者意思接近，都是詢問某人怎么樣，但 be like 側重于問某人的性 格品質等。如：honest （誠實的）、shy（害羞的）等。而look like側重于詢問人的外貌特征。句型：What +be +sb +like ?(某人是個什么樣的人？）

2.What+do/does+sb + look like ?(某人長得什么樣子？）。其中的like是介詞，“像……一樣。”

試體會：

-What does Cathy look like?　卡西長得什么樣?

-She's tall, and she has black hair. 她個子很高，一頭黑發(fā)。

-What's Ruth like?　 魯思是個什么樣的人呢？

1.反意疑問句

附在陳述句后面對陳述的事實提出相反的句子叫反意疑問句。反意疑問句由兩部分組成, 前一部分是陳述句, 后一部分是簡略問句.

1. 基本結構:前肯后否； 前否后肯

（1）疑問部分的主語必須和陳述部分的主語一致，疑問部分的主語一定用代詞。

Mr Black comes from the UK, doesn’t _________?

(2) 疑問部分必須和陳述部分的時態(tài)一致。

Tom went to the cinema yesterday, _____________he?

(3) 答語是肯定的用”Yes” ,答語是否定的用“No”。

---Ann didn’t come to school last week , did she ?---_________, she didn’t . She was ill.

2.特殊形式

（1）當陳述部分是there be 結構時，反意疑問句用……there.

(2 ) 當陳述部分的主語是this/ that時，反意疑問句的主語用it.

當陳述部分的主語是 these /those時，反意疑問句的主語用they .

(3) 陳述句有l(wèi)ittle（少）, few（少）, never（從未）, no（沒有） neither（兩者不） nobody（沒人）, nothing（無東西） 等否定詞時，疑問尾句要用肯定形式。

(4) 當陳述部分含有有由否定前綴un..,im.. dis..等構成的否定意義的詞時，反意疑問句仍用否定形式。Mary is unhappy, ______she ?

(5) 當陳述部分的主語是不定代詞something/ anything/ everything/ nothing等時，反意疑問句的主語用it. 當陳述部分的主語是不定代詞someone/ anyone / everyone等時，反意疑問句的主語用they

(7) 反意疑問句的陳述部分為I / We think (believe, suppose, consider) + that從句時，問句部分的動詞及主語與that從句內的動詞和主語保持一致。

②We think that English is very useful, isn’t it? (不用don’t we?)
