一． 教材分析
《When were you born?》是仁愛版第一冊第7單元第一話題， 它分為A-D部分。它主要是介紹如何運用基數詞和序數詞。通過對它們的學習和應用達到充分交際的目的，使學生充分的理解和掌握它們的廣泛性和實用性。同時學生還要掌握一般過去時在句子中的應用。
二． 教學設計的理念
仁愛版的英語新教材被稱之為 “Project English ”, 即：“任務型英語教學” 簡單地說就是強調“做中學”的語言教學方法，因此教師應依據課程的總體目標，并結合教學內容，創造性地設計貼近學生實際的各種各樣的教學活動，為學生提供盡可能多的機會，吸引和組織他們積極參與。使學生嘗試使用真實的有意義的語言。使學生以具體的任務為載體，以完成任務為動力，把知識和技能融為一體，通過思考，調查，討論，交流和合作等方式，用所學語言去做事情，在做事情過程中自然地使用語言，在使用語言的做事情的過程中發展和完善自己的語言能力。啟迪學生的思維，激活他們的想象力和創造力，培養他們的靈感，宏揚他們的個性。加強師生，生生之間的交流與合作，加強團隊精神。促使學生樹立正確的人生觀和知識觀。
三． 教學目標

２． 培養學生視、聽、說、唱的能力。
３． 養學生的實踐能力和合作精神：讓學生進行一系列的調查活動，促進學生間的交流，加深相互間的了解，同時提高英語口語表達能力和交際能力。
