2. 學生們聽老師的介紹，并學習這些新生詞。

3. 大屏幕出示形容詞和副詞的最高級形式的規則，學生們記憶或記在筆記本上。
二、用最高級來描述人物或事物的句型小結：
1. A + be + the 形容詞最高級 + 表示范圍的介詞詞組
2. A + 動詞+ (the) 副詞最高級 +（表示范圍的介詞詞組）
例句：
Dream Clothes is the worst in town.
The DJs choose songs the most carefully.
Ⅳ. Practice
Work on 3a:
1. Tell Ss to read the sentences in 3a and try to fill in the blanks with correct forms of the words in brackets.
2. 方法指導：應通讀全句，掌握短文大意；然后，根據句意及句子中有沒有表示范圍的詞組，來確定空格處的形容詞或副詞是用何級別形式。比如，在第一題中，句末有表示范圍的詞組in town，可知空格處應填bad的最高級形式，故應填worst。其他類似。
3. 學生們，按老師指導的方法進行閱讀，并逐句推敲每空應填什么詞，在實際的運用提高自己的閱讀能力、分析能力及綜合運用能力。
4. 最后，教師與同學們一起校對答案，并對學生們有疑問的地方進行解釋。
Work on 3b:
1. 讓學生們閱讀表格中詞語，并記憶這些詞語的形式。
2. 讓學生們思考一下他們居住地周圍的一些商店的情況，并填寫在表格中。
3. 讓學生們就表格中所填寫的內容，來發表自己談論自己居住地周圍的情況，并寫在表格中。 相互檢查一下自己所寫的句子，發現并改正錯誤。
