一． 教學(xué)內(nèi)容分析與要求
1）語言知識與語言技能的要點及要求
(1) .掌握下列短語和詞匯的用法：be located in ,have sth./sb done ,be forced to do sth. ,by hand ,enough to do sth. ,be used to do sth. , be famous for , extend from ….to …,protect ,remember ,cary ,excited ,climb .
(2) .掌握下列句型：a. It is said that …
b. It takes /sb. Some time to do sth.
(3) .掌握被動語態(tài)的基本用法：be done
(4) .通過限時閱讀能正確理解文章內(nèi)容，能準(zhǔn)確回答課文后的問題。
2）情感態(tài)度與價值觀目標(biāo)
（1）培養(yǎng)學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)意識：小組合作學(xué)習(xí)和探究學(xué)習(xí)的良好習(xí)慣。
（2）培養(yǎng)學(xué)生克服學(xué)習(xí)中遇到的困難及合作探究解決問題的方法和途徑。

重點：
（1） 熟練掌握下列詞匯和短語：be located in ,have sth./sb.done ,be forced to do sth. ,by hand , enough to do sth. ,be used to do sth. ,be famous for ,extend from …to…,protect ,remember, carry ,excited ,climb .
（2） 被動語態(tài)的用法。
難點：記憶和運用閱讀材料中的生詞和短語，正確運用被動語態(tài)結(jié)構(gòu)。

（1）能正確使用課文中重點詞匯和短語，并能順利完成相關(guān)基礎(chǔ)練習(xí)。
（2）掌握被動語態(tài)的基本構(gòu)成形式和用法。

二 教學(xué)建議
1) 導(dǎo)入
收集播放關(guān)于長城的錄像片，向?qū)W生簡要介紹“The Great Wall”。
例如：The Great Wall is also called the “Ten –Thousand-li Great Wall “,It is one of the wonder of the world .It is the longest wall in the world and runs across noth China like a huge dragon .It has a history of over 2,000 years .In old times ,it was very difficult to build such a wall .
提出問題，導(dǎo)入課文閱讀教學(xué)：
Do you know how the Great Wall was built and why it was built ?
指導(dǎo)學(xué)生遇到生詞不要停下來，盡量根據(jù)上下2文猜猜生詞的大概含義。對難句和長句可先畫出來，待精讀時解決處理。
2）研討，探究和實踐
（1）布置任務(wù)，帶著下列問題，限時5分鐘快速閱讀課文：
A .Where is the Great Wall ?
B .When was the Great Wall first built ?
C. Who decided to have the walls linked and extended ?
D When was the Great Wall rebuilt ?
E Why did the ancient people build many beacon tower on the wall ?
讓學(xué)生正確快速找到答案。
（2）小組研討探究課文中的疑難點：
通過非以上問題的回答，學(xué)生已對課文有了一定的理解。動員學(xué)生提出并組織各小組同學(xué)研討一定中發(fā)現(xiàn)的問題或比較重要的語言點。
如：
1. The walls were built to protect these states .句中的were built 是什么結(jié)構(gòu)？
2. …to have the walls linked and extended 是一個什么句型結(jié)構(gòu)？
3. It took them more than ten years to build it under terrible conditions .句中it 指代的是什么內(nèi)容？
4. Look , on the top of the mountain is the Great Wall .句中On the top of the mountain 是句子的主語嗎？
等等。
（3）教師評價學(xué)生的研討并答疑，以下答疑例題供參考：
問題1：The walls were built to protect these states .“修建城墻是為了保護(hù)他們的國家。”
句中的were built 是過去時的被動語態(tài)結(jié)構(gòu)。該句子的主動形式是：They built the walls to protect these states .
例：A young lady looked after my baby at home .“一位年輕女士在家照顧我的孩子。” 被動語態(tài)為：
My baby was looked after at home by a young lady .(如果要把動作的執(zhí)行者表示出來，要用by 加執(zhí)行者的短語) 。
問題2：to have the walls linked and extended . 該結(jié)構(gòu)中的have 是使役動詞，意思是“使，讓” ，have sth./sb. done 意思是“使某人或某物被。。。。。。”
例如：
----Bob ,I didn’t recognize you just now.
----I have had my hair cut .
問題3：在It took them more than ten years to build it under terrible conditions .句子中it 用作形式主語，真正的主語是不定時短語to build it under terrible conditions . 這是一個很重要的句型，其結(jié)構(gòu)是：It takes /took sb. some time to do sth. 意思是“做某事花費某人多少時間”。
例如 1.It will take us three days to finish the job .
2.It took the worker ten months to build our school library .
問題4：Look ,on the top of the mountain is the Great Wall. 句中的on the top of the mountain 不是句子的主語，本句是倒裝句結(jié)構(gòu)，它的正常語序應(yīng)該是：
The Great Wall is on the top of the mountain .
在英語中，有時為了“強調(diào)句子的狀語，表語等”而使用倒裝結(jié)構(gòu)。
例如：
From the speaker on the wall comes a young lady’s voice.
(4) 精讀課文：
仔細(xì)閱讀課文，掌握文章中的細(xì)節(jié)和關(guān)鍵信息。 待完成閱讀后，把學(xué)生分成幾個小組利用課件一個一個給出下列語句，要求學(xué)生根據(jù)課文內(nèi)容判斷正誤，采用小組搶答的方式，看哪個小組判斷的既快又準(zhǔn)：
仔細(xì)閱讀課文，根據(jù)課文內(nèi)容判斷下列說法是否正確
1. The Great Wall was first built during the Qin Dynasty .
