一、學情分析

我教七年級一班和二班，學生通過三個預備單元和三個正式單元的學習，對于特殊疑問句的構成及回答方式都有了一定的了解，同時也具備了一定的學習能力和表達能力，可以通過自主學習與合作學習自己分析問題、解決問題。但學生在學習過程中還是可能出現一些表達方面的問題，比如系動詞和名詞單復數的應用。

二、教材分析

本單元以談論物品位置（Things around the house）為話題，要求學生學會方位介詞on, in, under, behind等的用法。題材頗具現代氣息，貼近學生日常生活，內容豐富，詞匯量大，通過描述物品位置、找尋物品、設置理想化居室等系列活動，讓學生在聽、說、讀、寫、做中學習語言知識，培養運用語言知識的能力，激發創新精神。而本節課在這個單元中對于物品方位的初步認知和表達起著重要的作用，主要通過問答方式教授學生如何表達單復數物品簡單的方位。

三、 設計理念

本節課我本著讓學生通過日常生活用品的認知以及物品方位表達的學習，能夠熟練掌握如何用英語表達單復數物品的簡單方位，牢記新名詞：table、 bed、bookcase、sofa、 chair等，掌握名詞單復數及人稱代詞they的用法，并熟練運用介詞in, on, under和方位表達法：使學生學會基本句型"Where’s my book? It’s under the chair學生通過小組學習、小組對話、討論等一系列的課堂活動，培養學生的合作精神；同時學生通過自主學習與合作學習養成良好的學習、生活習慣，學會整齊擺放自己物品和養成良好的學習方法。在學習新單詞、演示物品方位和任務的布置以及練習的展示時我采用了多媒體教學，形象生動，極大限度地調動學生學習積極性，并擴大課堂容量。同時引導學生采用小組合作與探究的學習策略，學會運用方位介詞“on／in／under／”表達物品的位置。

四、課前準備

教師：收集課文中所涉及的或學生常見的學習、生活用品、家具或有關的教學幻燈片，設計課后鞏固練習，

學生：預習新單詞：聽錄音機，模仿跟讀新單詞；準備與本課有關的學習用品實物，看誰記得快、準。及思考如何表示物體的方位。

五、教學目標：

1．知識目標：

（1）掌握有關物品的新名詞：table、 bed、bookcase、sofa、 chair

（2）熟練運用介詞in, on, under。

（3）熟練運用where問句及其回答。

（4）掌握名詞單復數及人稱代詞they的用法。

2．能力目標：

（1）學會用英語詢問自己的和他人的物品的具體位置。

（2）學會用英語準確描述物品的具體位置。

3．情感目標：

（1）培養學生整齊擺放自己物品的生活習慣。

（2）通過小組對話、討論等一系列的課堂活動，培養學生的合作精神。

4、學習策略：

（1） 交際策略: 學會與他人合作交流,并能把語言材料用到真實的生活中去；

（2）資源策略：學會利用一切可利用的學習資源如詞典，書等來獲取更多的學習信息；
