動詞不定式：1.動詞不定式的基本形式是“to+動詞原形”，有時可以不帶to。動詞不定式沒有人稱和數的變化，在句中不能單獨作謂語。2.動詞不定式具有名詞、形容詞和副詞的特征，因此可以在句中作主語、表語、賓語、賓語補足語、定語和狀語。（詳見書本123頁）

語法聚焦:

時間狀語從句。引導時間狀語從句的從屬連詞有：when,while,before,after,as ,until,till,as soon as.

注:when,as和while都可以表示“當......的時候”，而when既可表示“一個特定的時間”，也可表示“一段時間”；as多用于口語，強調“同一時間”或“一先一后”；while也可表示同一時間，但所表示的不是一個時間點，而是一段時間，因此，謂語動詞常是延續性的，并且常用進行時態。有時while可以與when,as互換。（詳見課本P121----122）。

另：在時間狀語從句中，如果主句是一般將來時，從句常用一般現在時表示將來。

Eg:I'll tell her when she comes tomorrow.

I'll ring you as soon as I get to Beijing.
