反意疑問句, 對陳述句所敘述的事,提出的疑問.
反意疑問句的前后兩部分在時態、人稱和數上都要保持一致。
Eg: It looks like rain, doesn’t it?
He doesn’t need to work so late, does he?
(1) 陳述句的主語是this, that 時，疑問部分的主語多用it；陳述句的主語是these，those時，疑問部分的主語多用they。
This is a dictionary, isn’t it?
Those are books, aren't they?
(2) 陳述句如果是there be結構時，疑問句部分仍用there.
There once was a man named Jim, wasn’t there?
(3) 在英語口語中，“I am + 表語結構”，后面的反意疑問句多用aren’t I 來體現。
I am very interested in learning English, aren’t I?
(4) 陳述句的主語是動詞不定式，動詞的ing形式或從句時，疑問部分的主語多用it來體現。
Learning English well is very important, isn’t it?
What he said is right, isn't it?
(5) 陳述句含有not, no, hardly, neither, never, few, little, too…to等否定句或具有否定意義的詞時，疑問部分用肯定。
Few people knew the news, didn’t they?
Tom has never been to England, has he?
(6) 陳述句的主語是nobody, no one, everyone, somebody等不定代詞時，反意疑問部分的主語多用they來體現.
如果陳述句的主語是something, nothing, anything, everything 等不定代詞時，反意疑問部分的主語多用it來體現.

(1) sound + n. “聽起來……”

她的聲音聽起來像感冒了。

3. Modal Verbs:
can, should, would, should, may, must, might
eg: I can go almost anywhere on foot.

(A). can, could“能夠” (1)could表示過去的能力，如用于現在，則語氣較為婉轉。
(2) can和be able to都可以表示能力。Can只有現在式和過去式(could)，be able to有更多形式。
(B). can, could, may, might “允許”，“許可”
May I …的肯定回答用Yes, you may. 否定回答用No, you mustn’t. / No, you can’t. / No, you’d better not.
在表示“不可以”、“禁止”等意思時，常用mustn’t not (mustn’t)代替may not.
(C) must, can’t (1) must表示推測，有“必定”的意思，只用在肯定句中，否定句中須用can’t， 表示“不可能”。
(2) must + be 表示對現在情況的肯定推測；
can’t + be 表示對現在情況的否定推測。
(3) must + have done 表示對過去的肯定推測；
can’t + have done 表示對過去的否定推測。
(4) must + be doing 表示對此時此刻的肯定推測；
can’t + be doing表示對此時此刻的否定推測。
