本單元教學內容分析: 本單元主要話題是“科學家如何以探索、鉆研、無畏的科研精神驗證未知的科學原理。”通過本單元的學習，了解科學家們對人類所做出的貢獻及其成果。本單元所涉及的要點是：
（1）了解著名醫生John Snow、錢學森、哥白尼等科學家以及他們的作為和故事。
（2）學習表示意愿、希望和建議的句型。
（3）學習過去分詞作定語和表語的結構。
（4）學習寫好“persuasive writing”,以訓練學生的邏輯思維及寫作能力.
