　　過了前面的蟠龍橋，前面的就是蟠門三景之一的吳門橋了。吳門橋，是蘇州現存最高的單孔石拱橋，它建于北宋元豐年間，現在我們所看到的橋是1872年用花崗石建造的。因為盤門是當是蘇州的南門、正門，所以把這座橋取名為“吳門橋”大家看，那座高聳的寶塔叫做瑞光塔。瑞光塔始建于公元247年，據說是三國時期孫權為了報答母親的養育之恩所建的十三級舍利塔。現在我們所看的塔是北宋重建的，重建后塔高53.57米，為七層樓閣式磚木混合結構塔。他典型的江南宋塔，在塔內還曾發現了珍貴的文物，現在保存陳列在蘇州博物館內，大家如果有興趣可以去看一下。

　　右前方的是盤門的水路城門，盤門是當是春秋時期“闔閭大城”的八座城門之一。大家看，那邊就是水門，水陸兩門并進，而陸城門在水城門的北面，城門并不大，分內外兩重，之間設有甕城，也就是一塊空地，可以原來藏幾百名士兵。如果敵人來了，把兩座城門一關，正好來一個甕中之鱉。城墻上還設有垛口，射孔，炮洞等古代城市的防御措施。兩門之間還有暗道相通，各自還設有巨大的閘門，另外用盤車來提升或關閉閘門，控制往來的行人和船只，能夠有利得防御敵人，堅守城門。大家如果有空的話可以去看一下。現在我們看到的城樓是1986年重建的，兩岸的城垣建于1351年，水陸城門在全國這有這一座了，著名的建筑學家陳從周教授就曾對盤門有：“看長城之雄，南看盤門之秀”的贊譽。由此可見，盤門可以和長城相媲美。
